The ordinary looking cafe in Colaba Area of Mumbai. It was here the terrorists struck on November 2008 and killed many customers in mindless shooting. After this they went and entered Hotel Taj. After devastation, the cafe which is frequented by foreigners rose again and is again doing business as previously. They have kept some of the window shields which have bullet holes as it is.
We again visited Mumbai, the city where we lived for more than 20 years during my posting there in ONGC. We lived in Panvel, a town falling on the Mumbai-Pune highway about 50 kilometers from Mumbai. We left the place on my transfer to Dehradun. Our children grew and got educated while we were there. As everyone knows no city in India is like Mumbai.
