Tumucumaque

Tumucumaque was the codename, Firexfox’s version 4 beta was been given. Actually, it is world’s largest tropical forest park. It is situated in Brazil in Amazon rain forests. It has been not been inhabited by humans. There are birds and animals which are exclusive to it only and are found no where else around the world. In area it is even bigger than Belgium. Herbal Garden Panchkula

The garden is very near to my home. If I take the pedestrian route which winds through fields and tall reed grass river bed, the garden is hardly 2 kilometers away. But you have to cross the Ghaggar river on the way and wade into the water and climb steep sloping boundary. ┬áThe path winds through the fields and poplar trees which in itself is very sylvan. In winters there is wheat crop in the fields. Small rivulets used to channel the river water for irrigating these fields run through the fields. My Peregrinations

I have returned back to the place where we were born, grew up, went to school in our own village of Manimajra, then to college and university in Chandigarh. Graduation and post graduation became possible because of the proximity of Chandigarh. Had this not been the case, there was no chance of my getting higher education in science. Even at that time, some 60 years back, our village was the largest of villages around Chandigarh. There were agricultural lands all around the village.
